30-Day Return Policy on Most Products Sold

At CYTERUS, we strive to make the return process as easy as possible for you. All products sold by CYTERUS are covered under the manufacturer's warranty for defects in workmanship unless otherwise specified. If you encounter any issues with a product, we recommend contacting the manufacturer's technical support or warranty service provider listed in your product documentation for troubleshooting assistance and guidance on potential defects or missing parts. The manufacturer's support staff are best equipped to provide a solution to most issues, eliminating the need for returning the item. If, after contacting the manufacturer, it is determined that the product is indeed defective, the manufacturer will either offer to repair or replace the item directly or refer you back to CYTERUS for the return process. Types of Returns:

  1. Defective Product Returns: Most defective products can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund, credit, replacement, exchange, or repair, at CYTERUS's discretion. After 30 days, product support is provided by the manufacturer as per the terms of the manufacturer warranty.
  2. Non-Defective Product Returns: Most non-defective products can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund, credit, or exchange, at CYTERUS's discretion. Non-defective items being returned for a refund, credit, or exchange are subject to a 15% restocking fee, with a minimum of $15.00. After 30 days, the manufacturer's warranty applies.
  3. Restricted Product Returns – Manufacturer Pre-Authorization Required: Certain products can only be returned to CYTERUS if the manufacturer certifies them as defective and authorizes a return through CYTERUS. In such cases, you will need a manufacturer's case number for CYTERUS to process your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request. If the manufacturer does not authorize a return through CYTERUS, the product must be returned directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement according to the terms of the manufacturer warranty. Open Software and Consumables: Open software and consumables, including toner and ink cartridges, rollers, paper, ribbons, and backup tapes, are non-returnable and can only be returned for repair or replacement to the manufacturer. Important Information:

  • All return requests must be made within 30 days of the shipping date. After 30 days, the manufacturer's warranty, if applicable, applies.
  • No returns of any type will be accepted at the returns warehouse without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number printed on the label.
  • Please allow 10 business days from the date of receipt at the returns warehouse for returned items to be inspected and processed.
  • All products being returned must include all original boxes, packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards, and all other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Returns for products missing any of these items will be returned to the customer unprocessed, with no refund or credit issued.
  • Products returned to CYTERUS that have been misrepresented by the customer, including item condition or serial number, will be returned to the customer unprocessed, with no refund or credit issued. CYTERUS reserves the right to accept the return and charge a restocking fee of 35% instead of rejecting the return.
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping returned products when the items being returned are non-defective. We advise customers to purchase insurance to cover loss or damage during transit. CYTERUS is not responsible for loss during return shipment.

  • Credits issued for returns may only be used for future purchases of products or services. Any return credit issued must be used within 12 months of the date it was issued. Any unused credit or portion thereof after the 12-month period will automatically expire.
  • All refurbished products are clearly marked as such and come with a manufacturer's warranty. Refurbished products may only be returned for repair to the manufacturer or a local authorized service center.
  • Discontinued or end-of-life products may only be returned for repair to the manufacturer or a local authorized service center.

Damaged in Transit:

If you receive a package that is damaged during transit, we recommend refusing the delivery. The carrier will automatically return the package to CYTERUS. If you choose to accept delivery of a damaged package, please follow these steps:

  1. Note the damage on the shipping carrier's delivery record.
  2. Save the original packaging and product in the condition received.
  3. Notify us of the issue within 48 hours via email at Contact@CYTERUS.com.

By following these steps, we will be able to file a claim with the carrier for the damage. If the customer fails to follow these steps, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the merchandise as if it had arrived undamaged, and the standard CYTERUS return policy will apply.
